Sunday In The Park With George

Ponca Playhouse produced Sunday In The Park With George. They asked me to design the lights and assist with the set. We wanted to create the magical realism while not washing out the projections in most scenes. It isn't simple when the grid is 12' off the ground and with no space to backlight. To achieve this, I used Colorado bars from the top and strategically angled everything else so we could still see faces as well as the projected park, dogs, and night sky.
